Dumb Mney

Ah yes, we’ve finally hit that ancient time. Cramming everything I was too lazy to write down into a single day. Since a shitload of time has passed since I watched them, my thoughts aren't exactly fresh, but whatever. It’s not like these are pieces I’m gonna overthink and write long-ass essays about anyway.

The story of Dumb Money is based on a true story. I remember when it happened; because I was living in a different country and just wasn’t following that kind of stuff back then, I had only heard a few bits and pieces here and there. The other day, my roommate was like, "Yo, there's this movie, wanna check it out?" so I said alright, let's take a look.

So, how’s the movie? It’s probably the most average thing you could ever watch. Once some time passes, you won't remember a single thing about it; it’ll leave absolutely zero impact on you. You just end up getting some info about the actual event. Well, even that’s debatable since I don't know the original story, and they might have hyped up or warped real-life events for the big screen. I don't know.

I have no clue what kind of budget they had, but the cast actually has some decent actors. Sebastian Stan, Seth Rogen, Paul Dano... these guys aren't bad. And they didn't do a terrible job either. But like I said, since the movie is mid as hell, nobody in the cast went out of their way to put on some mind-blowing performance.
